Description

A charming 19th-century French provincial nightstand in fruitwood, with a four-sided gallery top and a single drawer opening on its original brass knob. Raised on square tapered legs with carved bracket detailing at each corner. The surface shows honest wormholing scattered across the top, consistent with age and typical of period French fruitwood — inactive and purely cosmetic. Warm old patina throughout, sound joinery, hand-cut drawer construction. A perfect small-scale bedside or lamp table with real age and character.
