Description
A well-loved pair: a rolled-arm cognac leather club chair with matching ottoman, hand-upholstered in sheepskin leather in the Netherlands, likely mid-to-late 20th century. Barrel-backed with a single-piece back panel, rolled nailhead-trimmed arms, and tapered dark wood legs โ the classic silhouette of a Dutch club chair.
The leather carries deep, honest patina โ rich cognac tone with lighter worn areas at the seat and arm tops from years of use. One arm has a leather peel at the back corner (pictured) that would benefit from a professional leather repair; sold as-is, priced to reflect it, or can be glued down prior to sale – but we like to show current condition always up front.
