Likely Early 20th century, the sliding writing surface with inset tooled red leather, below a three quarter superstructure with central double door cupboard with arched carved shell. Flanked by drawers and hinged, lidded compartments, the inverted break front with serpentine ends, over three drawers, raised on cabriole legs with carved Georgian shells.

The desk has had some glued repairs, currently has a split in the writing surface and some slight separation here and there as well as some raised areas of veneer - but overall its a fully functioning and sound desk!
