Antique Chinese Huanghuali Hardwood Table 18th Century Style but likely made later. Great table traditionally made, amazing construction with wood pegs and wood nails and mortise and tenon joinery - lots of intersecting pieces. Table has a stained and probably restained surface and has a sealed finish possibly lacquer or a varnish or urethane. Strong and sturdy - has patina and wear and some slight gaps in joinery from shrinkage, its a living piece - meant to expand and contract in different environments.
