Quesada studied at the Otis Art Institute, San Francisco Art Institute, Art Students’ League New York City, University and La Esmeralda School of Fine Arts, Mexico City. He painted portraits of Dorothy Lamour and Betty Grable. In San Francisco, he worked with portrait painter Thomas Leighton in 1959.
